This resin is high reactive, low viscosity and high water resistance translucent resin which is suitably modified for fast wet out of glass fiber. The roof light polyester resin is a quick curing unsaturated polyester resin based on Orthophthalic raw material. Roof light sheet resin has the unique features which are only used to make roof light sheets. The resin has excellent mechanical properties, impact and high water resistance. Polyester Resins are cured by the use of free radical initiating catalysts mainly MEKPeroxide. Accelerators most commonly used are cobalt octoate and cobalt naphthanate. Catalysts and accelerator should be thoroughly evaluated before use.
Accelerators should never be mixed with catalyst as this would cause explosion. Accelerator be blended into the resin first .Catalyst should be added immediately before use.

Also affects the storage life of the resin and leads to turbidity in the resin. The resin should also not be exposed to direct sunlight as this would lead to premature gelatin
The Polyester resin is packed in HDPE carboys and epoxy coated steel drums HDPE barrels (30, 35 & 225 kgs) of standard size net weight. Special packing size offered for projects on returnable containers and on demand. Technical services are also provided to comply standards.

Never add metal salts (Accelerator) or Pre Accelerated resin to Peroxides when adding peroxides to a resin solution, mix thoroughly the resulting product Do not add organic peroxides to a hot diluents or process. Prevent contamination of Accelerator, promoter from materials like (Iron Copper, Cobalt) salts, storing acids and sanding dusts. Suggested containers are glass, polypropylene, Teflon, Poly-ethylene or stainless steel to prevent contamination of material during its handling
